Why I Love Where I Live

Oregano beginning to green.

Daffodils in bloom everywhere.

More daffodils, and forsythia that I started from a stick off another bush.

Larry transplanting a peach seedling after a long day of outside work.

The peach trees are beginning to open--hopefully this year we'll have fruit, unlike last year.

Ah, home sweet home.

  1. Sure looks like spring to me. It is 74 degrees here and Sunny. Ramps up, daffodils blooming, grass greening up. Not supposed to rain til Wednesday...

I am pretty sure we gave old man winter the slip...

  2. I hope you're right! I love winter but I'm ready for spring now.

Larry was thrilled with the ramps you sent him. They're cleaned and ready to cook tonight. I just hope he didn't slip a few raw ones out in his lunch today!
