A Request for a Friend

I'm going a little off topic here.

Ellouise Schoettler is a good friend and a fine storyteller. Her husband Jim is a rare soul--a doctor who has loads of common sense, a keen interest in everything around him and the ability to relate to anyone he meets.

Recently Ellouise wrote on her blog that Jim's cancer that has shown up again unexpectedly. I can only imagine the impact that must have on their 53-year love affair.

Many of us know first hand the power of prayer and healing thoughts, in whatever form those may take. If you have a moment, please go to her blog and leave a message, a prayer, a hug, good thoughts or whatever you feel you can give to Jim as he prepares for surgery at the end of this month.

Thank you, my friends.
