Catch-up Photos for the 4th

I've taken lots of photos recently that haven't made it to my blog for one reason or another. Here's a random batch that you might enjoy:

First tomatoes this summer, from our Early Girl plants that we raised in the greenhouse

Half-runners, the first of many, I think. This was the basket we sold.

On the storytelling trail in St. Mary's, WV--hey, this was a small cone! I wonder what their large looks like?

  1. Susanne, did Larry share his ice cream cone with you or did you have your own? Guess what, I won an advance copy of Fran Slayton's book! Can't wait to get it in the mail.

  2. I did enjoy those pics!
I'm so envious of those green beans. But mine are doing better this year than they have before. But that's not saying much. We really need a soaking rain.

  3. Congratulations, Janet! I think you'll enjoy it.

TF, we've had so much rain it's been a problem. A lot of people are having trouble with blight now.

  6. Ice cream is a rare treat for us--I try to watch what I eat and Larry's diabetic. So when we ordered small cones, we certainly weren't expecting anything like these! But we did our valiant beat to eat them;-)

  7. I'd love to have your "Waiting for the Harvest" photo, matted & framed, and hanging in our upstairs hallway. It just makes me happy to look at it.
I looks like something that would be found in Country Magazine.
