Microfiction Monday: Return of the Native



Tires crunched gravel.

"Someone's here," he said, kissing her bare shoulder.

A door opened.

"I'm back. I changed my mind about the divorce."

  1. This was a good one, love in the afternoon! The husband will have to forgive her, sounds like the divorce was his idea! So for a few brief moments, she thought she was almost free!
