In Memoriam: Upper Big Branch April 5, 2010

We will not forget them.

Faces of the Mine project is a website designed by WVU students for the Upper Big Branch community as a memorial to the 29 lost miners. Please visit and get to know the miners, their families and the community.

A story of how one woman met the man she loved in the mine, and how she lost him to the same mine.
