Home

Home--traveling east as the sun traveled west, tired but filled with stories.

The road is the same, yet ever changing with each day's light and shadow. But Joe's Run still turns off in the same spot,

the ridge is still beautiful in evening's light (especially that mud puddle, which meant that it had rained),

and at the house, a friendly welcoming committee and fire.

It doesn't get any better than that, does it?

  4. no, Ma'am. It doesn't get any better than that . . . a pretty road home, a mud puddle, a camp fire and a warm greeting from your best friend : ) Darn near perfect. (I am lacking the mud puddle here, in southern Iowa).
