I'm not certain about the artist - if I remember correctly the guy is a Vietnam Vet who worked through his anguish by making these things. I passed them all the time when I was in undergrad in Virginia. I kinda like the bird one, but the rest of them creep me out.
They're located between Franklin and Ft. Seybert in Pendleton County, and it may be South Mountain. I'm not sure about the exact mountain. Matthew may know more about these.Mountainwordhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11011071025161667391noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2634969979683449053.post-45070339134803040422011-03-21T21:27:40.203-04:002011-03-21T21:27:40.203-04:00Not often you get to see these rusted and re-purpo...Not often you get to see these rusted and re-purposed metal sculptures. The deliberate creations - primitive art.
- JoyJoy@aVintageGreenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16788328980114729976noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2634969979683449053.post-69507154955267140582011-03-21T20:44:05.527-04:002011-03-21T20:44:05.527-04:00I love this post, yes someone is very creative!I love this post, yes someone is very creative!Susie Swansonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06052734156809316397noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2634969979683449053.post-30336298150736492862011-03-21T18:50:12.198-04:002011-03-21T18:50:12.198-04:00Susanna that's one neat post today.
