Such places contain so much history, and so many memories for people like you with a deep connection to them. My family, the Guinn's, donated the land, Maurice Sullivan and James Simon O'Connor my uncle and 2nd ggrandfather donated the $1. for the land, and all helped build the little white church. My grandmother Mary Thelma Kincaid Richardson had communion at St. Coleman's church; my grandparents and family are all who are buried in the graveyard. I blame these 'ghost hunters' and went to their Youtube channels about the 'evilness' and 'ghosts' of the little church on one of their ghost hunts, and I told them if they didn't cease and desist I would contact the sheriff to have them arrested and removed from the grounds for desecration. But, it seems people took their words seriously and burned the church to the ground. It is heartbreaking the awfulness of people. I hope my ggrandparent's graves are not harmed with all this awfulness of 'ghost hunting'. I have no words to describe my feelings of sadness.Patricia Withrow Hisernoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2634969979683449053.post-20200932325036729202022-07-06T14:24:16.732-04:002022-07-06T14:24:16.732-04:00Went there many times for a peaceful visit in a be...Went there many times for a peaceful visit in a beautiful location. Often sought out for those seeking comfort and a quiet place to have personal prayer. Dismayed to hear it has been burned down.
