They look so pretty with all of the different colors.

I can't imagine giving away something that precious as a quilt that was made by gramps!Angelahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15240864960032938754noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2634969979683449053.post-35372773126318176792009-11-14T06:24:16.917-05:002009-11-14T06:24:16.917-05:00When we became teenagers, my sister and I wanted t...When we became teenagers, my sister and I wanted to use ALL the space in our closet. We told mom she would have to find room elsewhere for all of the handmade dresses that our grandma ( dad's mom) had made for us over the years. She told us to put trashbags of clothes for Goodwill on one end of the hallway, and the trashbags of handmade dresses on the other end. She took the wrong bags. She tried to get the dresses back, but they had been lost in the sorting process. We were told to never tell dad.
We have pictures of the dresses, it's not a tragedy. Maybe the dresses went to some families that got a lot of good out of them.Amynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2634969979683449053.post-44848452646912112922009-11-13T21:44:52.736-05:002009-11-13T21:44:52.736-05:00Susan, you made me laugh!
