Before the Civil War there was a store right at the mouth of Joe's Run. According to one book I read, the Union soldiers during one of their raids (maybe the Jones-Imboden raid?)poured all the whiskey in the store into Mill Creek and set it on fire and the fire went floating down the creek. I don't know if this little cabin was the store building but it's close to where the store was probably located.Granny Suehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01129064020727041161noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2634969979683449053.post-30287246091411587442011-08-03T23:25:45.271-04:002011-08-03T23:25:45.271-04:00I remember the cabin. At the moment I'm even considering turning the window fan off because I'm getting a bit chilly!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08812329358511747697noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2634969979683449053.post-85733879361774999442011-08-03T22:19:34.716-04:002011-08-03T22:19:34.716-04:00Love your list!

Fall is my most favorite time of the year!Country Whispershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14525399460066950231noreply@blogger.com
