My folks loaded up the station wagon with cut flowers from the yard and the relatives' yards and all the 9 children and grandparents that we could squeeze into the car -- and then drive off to visit a half dozen cemeteries. We'd have sandwiches for lunch, in any of the cemeteries. I'd try to snuggle up close with my Gramma in the car. : ) Nancenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2634969979683449053.post-4546697594069722042013-06-07T14:08:01.305-04:002013-06-07T14:08:01.305-04:00Nope, it doesn't get much sweeter than this......Nope, it doesn't get much sweeter than this...

=)Susan Andersonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16049586085703324088noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2634969979683449053.post-11118421760097188962013-06-07T13:51:25.583-04:002013-06-07T13:51:25.583-04:00Beautiful photograph, beautiful flowers, fantastic...Beautiful photograph, beautiful flowers, fantastic colours:) GreetingsZielonaMilahttp://www.trasa-rowerowa.cba.plnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2634969979683449053.post-50905757084994036932013-06-07T08:50:33.741-04:002013-06-07T08:50:33.741-04:00Mimi, you uncle Whitey sounds like a lovely man. I don't think many children get to experience the amazing scents of plants, and they are so surprised when they discover them!
Granny Suehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01129064020727041161noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2634969979683449053.post-41879590274468188742013-06-07T08:48:48.378-04:002013-06-07T08:48:48.378-04:00Nancy, we do have wild phlox and mock orange! Mock orange grows in people's yards; I tried to transplant a bush years ago but didn't succeed. It is one of the sweetest of summer scents.
Granny Suehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01129064020727041161noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2634969979683449053.post-9401553225038167522013-06-07T05:27:17.033-04:002013-06-07T05:27:17.033-04:00Simply beautiful!

Do you have these in West Virginia?
Nancenoreply@blogger.com
