I considered substi...I think I'd try it Tressa! I considered substituting apple sauce for the liquid and the sugar, and might try that sometime. I think apple butter would work quite well, and might give it the taste of the old-time stack cakes.<br /><br />My geraniums did not survive this year. Last year it was 50-50 survival rate, but this cold, long winter did them in.
