Hummingbirds in the bee balm, extra jeans (naw I need those), extra utensils, and tableware, lots of books, I really could do with just a few less, stacks of cds, and the list could go on and on. My favorite rides through the back roads, hugs from friends, a voice in the night on the phone, not necessities, but what good they bring me. I'll take when I am, and where, and be grateful, God has been good to me.anniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03269208573774815462noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2634969979683449053.post-25593983778441428372015-07-10T14:13:48.869-04:002015-07-10T14:13:48.869-04:00In the UK the late 40s,50s and 60s were probably t...In the UK the late 40s,50s and 60s were probably the best time ever to be growing up, we didn't have civil unrest or Vietnam of course but we did have freedom, peace, plenty if jobs and enough to eat. As Harold Macmillan told us 'you've never had it so good'. He was right too, in so many ways life in Britain in that 25 years or so was better than ever before or since in all the ways that really matter.
