  1. I'd say your financials are in good shape. Good examples for others.

I miss all those things from my parents' farm.

  2. Hello Granny Sue,
I am visiting you after your visit to my blog and I have to say I am very impressed! I loved this post, incidently, and this is the way I hope to live life soon. I think it's wonderful that you moved to the mountains to get back to "basics." I also enjoyed your poem The Departed. I write, but I haven't posted much of anything on my blog. I did discover Dead Mule School of Southern Literature (there's a link on my blog) and have decided to post some things there. Thanks for visiting my blog and commenting! I would like to add you to my list!

  4. Very nice, now if only the government could take notes. I wish we could have a cellar, but we live on a flat lot. Can you believe it, I live in West Virginia and I live on a flat lot. Oh well..

  6. Welcome, tile lady. you have a nice blog too--I had to visit when I noticed you on many of the blogs I read.

And rhea--very funny, really! thank you for the laugh. The only assets on my place are the human kind, no donkeys around.
