ReplyDeleteMe too, Mama-bug! Except for the weeds. Although some, like the violets that make themselves at home in my flowerbeds, are welcome. but that ground ivy--grrr.

ReplyDeleteI also have heard (I think I read it in a book somewhere) that ground ivy repels witches.
Well then I am well-protected because we've got the stuff everywhere :) I have read a bit about it but there is so much I could supply half of WV, I'm sure and still have too much in my gardens. It loves my place. I actually think it's pretty when it's not overtaking everything.
ReplyDeleteThere's a lot in my yard too. Apparently it's good for helping the ground retain water during a drought, not that I need that right now. LOL The flowers are pretty though.
ReplyDeleteIs that ground ivy what I call "creeping charlie"? It sure sounds/looks like it. If I could relax and let it take over for the lawn (haha), it would be full of beautiful small purple flowers.
