Red Sky at Night

Last night's sunset was gorgeous, with such deep color. A good harbinger for today, and that promise came true as the day has begun with clear skies and sunshine.

I'm off to tell stories again this evening in Moundsville, WV with my Celtic story partner Judi Tarowsky. It looks to be a perfect day for a drive north along the Ohio River.

  1. There is some science in the "red sky at night" theory in the UK; a good sunset needs a clear sky to the west and as most of our weather comes from that direction it's a reasonable indicator of fine weather on the way. Haven't seen any this last week or so though!

    Hope you're both doing fine.

  2. Pretty photo! Is Spring in the air, Sue? Enjoy your drive and story telling day. We still have snow on the ground.

  3. In your neck of the woods, is it "shepherd's delight" or "sailor's delight"? I grew up with "sailor" but later learned that friends in the UK said "shepherd."
