Riverbend Booth Updates

A chilly 40 degrees this morning, overcast.

I thought I'd post a few photos of changes to our Riverbend booth. We haven't been to Marietta for a while but hope to go in the next few days.

Nothing really big or exciting this time, really, just adding a few small things and moving things around, which often prompts people to buy them--apparently sometimes it just makes something more visible.

This dresser has been in the booth for a while--what I meant to show in this photo was the collection of little Egyptian glass perfume bottles on top of it. So pretty, but the photo doesn't show them. Ah me.

The stove is still in the booth, and still gets many comments every day. Surely someone is going to fall in love with it soon.

Added a few buckets and Easter-y things to this table.

Added pink and pretty to this corner shelf.

Simple child's rocker needs some paint, but at $19 surely someone will want it? It's very sturdy, and you know a rickety rocker is a harder thing to fix than just painting it.

Just finished up these two little tables. Small tables are steady sellers, and these are priced to go.

  1. I just learned about two things from your blog...spooners and Egyptian glass perfume bottles! :)

  2. I've been collecting spooners off and on for the past several years, Quinn. I did know a little about them, as I remember my mother talking about them. I have found that if I search ebay for vases, I find spooners because people dont know what they are. Spooners are usually about 4" tall (some are footed, but the bowl part will be 4") and don't have lids--sometimes people think a sugar bowl without a lid is a spooner, and it can be tricky to tell the difference. I've been fooled a few times!

  3. I don't know spooners or celery keepers Sue. Or what do you call them? I guess we are not refined here in Iowa 😜
