32 and a heavy frost. Looks to be a fine day.

The tree is down, sadly. I already miss it. As I commented on Facebook, the corner looks a bit bare.

While rearranging, I opened the suitcases and sorted the stored DVD. Most of these we have not watched in 2 years, so they rotate back on to the shelves in case we want to see them again, and more recent ones went into the suitcases. A big bag of never-care-to-watch -again is ready for the booths, where I sell them for a dollar each.

One suitcase held Easter items, so I took those out to take to our booths sometime soon.

In the living room, I opened the top suitcase to find a trove of unused Christmas cards; I put that case away with the Christmas totes. The next one down held a treasure: Valentines Day decorations.

I just left the case open and arranged a little vignette.

Which leaves me wondering, what did I put in the last 2 cases? I should open them soon to see. It's like hidden treasure.

  1. It takes time to get used to the room after the decorations and tree is put away.

  2. Wow, you've got suitcase storage to an art. I used to put the out-of-season clothes in mine. But then I threw away the huge one...or gave it to a thrift shop. I now have big tupperware tubs everywhere, stacked much as your suitcases!

  3. I like the way you are using these old suitcases. Much better than a plastic tote!
