22°f this morning, -5.5°C. Clear.
Random pics from this past weekend.
One of the churches in Charleston, not the one where I was on Sunday, but from the steps of that church one could see this one and another. Very religious neighborhood apparently.
Inside the concert church
Suzy enjoying her cake. She broke a tooth recently and refuses to smile until it is fixed. It really isn't visible, but you can't convince her of that!
Inside Taylor Books. It's a popular spot downtown.
Nice fire last night.
Solstice sunset
Part of our driveway, which stays snowy long after the snow has melted everywhere else. We often find mushrooms along here in warm weather.
Our mailbox and package box.
A little beech tree clings to its leaves.
Buddy wasn't sure he wanted to go out after all.

Beautiful skies. We have about the same amount of snow, and I'm looking forward to sunshine today. I can almost stand the cold if there's sunshine. (I'm with the pups--venturing out in chilly weather gives me pause, too!)
ReplyDeleteOur snow cover here in Michigan looks about the same as yours right now. We're expecting a lot more later today though. Beautiful sunsets shots.
ReplyDelete...your drive looks like country backroad! Be warm and well.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the photo tour of your last weekend. I particularly liked the pictures of the solstice sunset.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful sunset.
ReplyDeleteBuddy was very wise!!
I am sure I could spend a happy couple of hours - or more - in Taylor Books.
ReplyDeleteGlad to read on previous post that you got a van replacement. You are one busy person. Happy Christmas to you.
ReplyDeleteThat book store looks wonderful to me. No snow for me, but I like the look of yours.
ReplyDeleteAdd just a bit more snow and that’s what things looked like here ( until it started snowing again today). - Jenn
ReplyDeleteI'm always interested in bookstores and since my last name is Taylor and my wife and I used to own and run a bookstore I was curious about the name of this one. When I went to their website I found that it was opened in 1995 by Ann Saville but nowhere does it explain the name. Can you enlighten me?
ReplyDeleteHow long is your driveway? Merry Christmas to your house, Susanna. Thank you for your Christmas posts.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely sunset. Merry Christmas to you and your family!! GM
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to see where you are and what you do. I saw the snow guy do our driveway at 3:45 this morning. He's be back a little later to clear the pile at the end of the driveway that the town plows are kind enough to dump.
ReplyDeleteSuzy is kinda smiling in her photo!
ReplyDeleteI would love to visit that book store. And Suzy, you have a beautiful smile. Merry Christmas, Sue!
