My Son Jonathan: Rest in Peace

My son Jonathan lost his life in a traffic accident in Iowa today. We will be leaving in the morning to go to his wife and children in Virginia. Please keep us all in your prayers. The photo is Jon at Thanksgiving with his granddaughter Cadyn.

It aches in our hearts to hear of your loss. But the loss of a child goes deeper for a mother, it aches her soul. Stand on the strength of your faith and lean on the strength of your friends and family to heal. Love Rich K., Wheeling

  39. I am so very very sorry to hear this news. I have been thinking of you and your family all day. I can tell by his pictures that Jon was a lovely boy and a good man. There's nothing much I can say that will help, but I thought you might like this. I wrote it for my ex-in-laws when my former brother-in-law died unexpectedly last year.

    Epitaph

    Our beautiful boy is gone.
    His loving heart
    His wicked grin-
We will not see his face again.

    Angels, ancestors,
    welcome him in-
    and keep him safe
    until we come.

Much love to you and yours,

    Kimberley King

I lift up mine eyes unto the hills from whence my strength comes....Those hills will help you through this loss, drenched in sun, washed with rain or tears they remain constant, strong and loving, and remember the echo of your Jon. Take the strength of all the love and wishes, hugs and prayers given here and elsewhere, take the sympathy and caring gestures and wrap yourselves in that, for we all are there standing with you.My prayers join the rest, God Bless

I can only imagine the pain your family is going thru at this time, but I know you will find comfort in his children and that beautiful grandchild who will carry a part of Jon forward. My deepest sympathies.-Melinda
