More From the Booths

37°f/2.8°C, clear and warming up quickly. Should be a high in the 60s today, but cloudy. Rain expected tomorrow.

We were tired puppies after our long day yesterday, but a really good night's sleep has made a world of difference. There is nothing like hard work to make for good sleep!

We finished, finally, getting the booths re-set for the holidays. Some minor tweaking here and there is all that will be needed next week, although I did buy a lot of pocketknives in an online auction this week, so I would like to get them priced and stocked, as they make good little Christmas gifts. But we shall see. Meanwhile, today we will get all the empty totes out of the van and put away, and after that, no plans!

Here's a quick look at our Ravenswood booth. It looks a little dark because the mall was closing by the time we finished, so she was turning out the lights.

In the front entrance:

Do any of you do pink for Christmas? It's not for me, but perhaps someone out there likes it.

These ceramic trees have been hot items for the past 10 years, with prices continuing to rise.

Looking into our front booth.

The leg lamp! This is a small one that I used to use in my home.

More pink! I have to say, I kinda like the glass trees, but they are so fragile.

Pretty dark back there after the lights are off!

Ornaments in cupcake holders. We've sold several already.

I re-did this table for Christmas.  I am disappointed it is taking so long to sell.

We've had this piece a long time too. This color usually sells quickly but I guess it's not right for this one. Re-paint, maybe? The doors are punched tiny, and the top is slate.

The top of the sideboard in our smallest space at this mall.

This is hard to see,  but this is our display window. It's always a challenge to decide what to put in the window, but 2 pieces have become standard, a short bookshelf and a tall door made into an entryway shelf. We just leave these two pieces in there and use them as the basis for whatever else we want to add. (The red spongeware crock in front is actually to catch drips from a very occasional leak from the awning above that the owner hasn't been able to fix.)

We have 4 booths in this mall, so this is just a little part of them, but gives you an idea.

Time for coffee!

  1. The items in your booth are so lovely. I wonder if the fact that things are not selling as well as you hope might have something to do with the cost of living constantly on the rise.

  2. Four booths in one location?! I didn't realize.
