43°f/6°C, drizzle, overcast, cold.
The window this morning: foggy, dreary. I wish we could stay home, warm and snuggle, but Larry has a doctor appointment today, so we have to go out. I have to go because he is not good at relating what the doctor says, and I need to know. He says I am nosy, but I say I am the one who has to take care of him, because he isn't very good at it! Which he admits.
On the way:
A project in our small town, a new park of some sort veing but. It seems to have required some very deep holes! I am very curious about exactly what this will be as it is at the busiest intersection in town, and there is no parking close by. During parades, the judge's stand is often located here, so perhaps the park plans includes that? Guess we'll wait and see.
The Federal building in Charleston, built around 2000 with funding procured,of course, by Senator Robert C. Byrd, a master at getting federal projects for our state.
And last, just a typical West Virginia road. Very curvy!
Tomorrow, I am back to physical therapy early in the morning. Seems like our life is ruled by appointments lately and December is absolutely laden with them. Good thing I got going on Christmas decorations already!

It has been cold over here too...I think today it's 0C or -1C..but at least the rain has stopped. Hope your physical therapy go well, Sue.
ReplyDeleteNow you’ve got me thinking about my urology appointment next week.

ReplyDelete-4C / 24,8F, here... looking forward to learn what is being build there and yes. Same here. Many have to close down due to bigger ones and internet sales.
Thank you for the ride and good luck with the doctor´s apps!

So good you were passenger on drive and could take all these photos! Yes appointments do take the whole day (at least for me) and I just went through my usual fall batch. Not many more till January here.
ReplyDelete...keep your wheels rolling!
ReplyDeleteI hate seeing local pharmacies (and hardware stores) close because of the big boxes. It looks like a fun day, Sue! I hope it was good as the ride!
ReplyDeleteLovely photos of your journey to Charleston. Good luck with all your medical appointments:)
ReplyDeleteI guess that means that Fruth's will be closing in Spencer, too. It was a very long-time establishment there.
ReplyDeleteIt is sad when local, longtime businesses close. The Federal Building looks like a classic and not like something only 25 years old. I think that's great.
