Thanks, Jessica. It was incredibly soft fog. I wanted to stay until the sun was fully up but we had to get on the road. Still, I think these pictures may have captured the early-morning feel just as well.

Tink, I have to agree. I often have to stop on my way to work to soak up the beauty--it's too much to miss.

It had rained the previous day, Liz, then frosted overnight so the temperatures and water in the air made for an interesting kind of light.
