Undoubtedly that color is haint blue.
Exactly, Staci! Nance, many people belive evil spirits are repelled by blue (hence the blue bottle trees). In the south blue is often used to paint porch ceilings, and the name of the color used is called "Haint (Haunt) Blue", as Staci says.
oh wow. Haint. I'm from up "north" and do know "haint". But I like it!
