It is the first really beautiful day this month, and unfortunately we are spending it at the VA Hospital about 2 hours from home. No worries! Just 2 appointments, 4 hours apart so
we can't go home in between. Podiatry, where they care for his feet and toesies, then a CT scan. Not sure what that's for this time. Parking here is a mess since the parking garage is undergoing repairs, so we let their parking valet park the van...which means we are kinda stuck since I would hate to ask them to go get it, then have them park it again. There is no charge for this service. Nice.
Larry stayed inside, trying to snooze in the huge lobby, but I can't sit that long, so I've gone walkabout. Too pretty a day to stay inside.
This Common Buckeye butterfly was showing off on a butterfly bush. Didn't look common to me! What a pretty thing. I know i have seen them at home, but assumed they were a moth. Silly me.
There is a garden here, part of the VA's agritherapy program. It's looking pretty ragged right now, but it must have been nice earlier in the summer.
...some weeks, my time revolves around doctor appointments.
