Noah?

No, a houseboat in landlocked, rural West Virginia.

It's right up there with a stationary bike I saw at a yard sale this weekend--the bike had a basket on it. I mean what was he planning to haul and to where?

Makes me smile just thinking about it.

  1. Never in my life have I seen a *waterfront* houseboat ROFL. It's gorgeous, in a Gilligan's Island kind of way.

When we were talking about building a house on land in WV, I mentioned wanting a lighthouse. I just always liked lighthouses. What neighbours would think of a lighthouse in Harrison County (how many hundreds of miles inland?) who knows? LOL

  2. I'd love to have a basket for my stationary bike. If you're going to pedal to nowhere for any length of time, you need provisions.

  3. Yes, I think the basket is a great idea. The ideal place for your books, snacks and tablet and pencil for those ideas that may come to you while walking! I guess they are going to use that houseboat in the pond next to them or it may come in handy if this constant rain doesn't stop.

  4. You guys make me laugh! Susan, I doubt they'd think too much about a lighthouse--they'd probably assume it had to do with your religion since i've seen several churches around her with lighthouse-type steeples--some even call themselves lighthouse. I want to see it when you build it, though!

Ah yes, provisions for the trip to nowhere! What would we take? water, of course. A book? chips? pop? chocolate? maybe that would defeat the purpose of the solitary bike, though...

  5. I agree with the need for provisions on the bike. When I read your post I immediately thought that I'd at least keep a book and some water in the basket--oh, and IF I were to exercise, I'd need the remote for the TV...

  6. I'd call it good old WV smarts with all the rain we've had lately!

  7. I hear you, Warren! He might be ahead of the rest of us in his thinking.

Now there's a thought, Laura. We could just sit on the bike and read. Pedal? well, the doc said spend some time on the bike, he didn't say work!
