  5. He is a burst of sunshine to so many Aunt Sue. And his legacy lives on in his amazing daughters.

  6. Thinking of you. I have a Jon, too. It looks as if you have a wonderful store of memories & stories about him, and so he never dies, really.

  7. What a fine, handsome man. Son, brother, father.

I don't know how you bear it. I want to sit down and weep just remembering. I heard the news the day it happened and felt responsible because the accident happened in my home state. God Bless your courage, Faith, and perseverance, Sue. May each day ride easier.

  9. Friends, it's okay. It is a hard day to get through, a day of remembering, of thinking "if only" but at the same time a day of gratitude: to have had him in my life, for the grandchildren he produced, for the memories, for the love that will never go away. Yes, I'm sad, and yes, the pain is as great as it ever was, but in the end what I feel is gratitude, not regret.
