Just a quick note to let you know that I have changed how comments are published. You no longer have to do the word verification step! The recent change in the way those are displayed has made it so difficult to comment, I know it has to be a headache for readers.
Instead I will be moderating comments and approving them for publication. So you will not see your comment display immediately but I will do my best to publish them as quickly as possible. I do love reading what you have to say!
I hope this change makes it easier for you to share your thoughts.
Good move. Those weird black letters and numbers were not easy to figure out.
ReplyDeleteI finally made blog buttons today thanks to the tutorial that Between Naps on the Front Porch wrote. She was so clear and easy to follow. Whew. So I wrote 4 buttons so I could practice. 3 happy friends got the extra buttons (yes I used their chosen pictures for the buttons). That was my fun last night and earlier this morning.
Joy
I am hoping most everyone will get rid of word verification! There was such an uproar when it first changed and I think most people are getting the word that comment moderation is better. Love the new look of your blog, by the way!
ReplyDeleteI have been moderating comments for a long time and have not had any trouble with it. Word verification is such a pain.
ReplyDeleteI understand why people use word verification but that new type is too hard to read. I usually get frustrated and move on after one try at it. Wish everyone would remove it!
ReplyDeleteIt really is a hassle trying to use the new captcha codes. I found that trying to use the audio app when I couldn't decipher the letters was no hope as it sounded like 4 or 5 voice tracks all playing at the same time.
ReplyDeletewell, whatever it takes to read and comment on your Grannysu site. I sure do enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteThank you all for your patience as I searched for a work-around. Special thanks to Angela for letting me know that it wasn't just happening to me! I hope this new system works better for everyone.
