Comments, Where Were You?

Where did they go? I finally found them tonight and got to work making sure they posted. I thought everyone was so busy they weren't posting! Now I know--not all comments will trigger a notice to my email. I have to actually look for them on Blogger. Sheesh.

So if you commented and it never appeared, blame hapless Granny who is still figuring this stuff out. At least now I know where to look for you!

  3. Rob, I loved this story too. It makes me happy to see a young generation pick up the old ways. She and her generation will be the ones to keep it alive. And what a gorgeous fiddle, to be sure.

  4. I got it figured out, Joy--I have to look on my dashboard and check regularly for unmoderated comments. As I understood it, I was supposed to get emailed notifications of new comments, but I only get a very few. The rest sit patiently waiting for me, as I discovered last night. I don't like doing it this way because it seems to me to impede the free flow of conversation, but with the spammers and the new captcha it seems to be the only sensible way to manage comments effectively.

  7. Hi Rich--what a surprise to meet you at the auction. Loved it! I didn't end up with anything spectacular, but there were some good surprises in the boxes. Nothing great, but okay.
