Bad pics; more later, but what a surprise early this morning! And of course, I have to be on the road. Figures. According to folklore, we will have 12 measurable snows this winter, since our first measurable snow fell on the 12th. Do you think that will hold true?

Looking on the bright side, you can consider a bullet dodged. At least the snow didn't come on the 30th.
ReplyDeleteWe had a dusting here in central KY. Unusual for this time of year, for sure. Makes me wonder about the upcoming winter! Stay warm!
ReplyDeleteI have never heard of snowfalls by first snowfall date. I learned something new. Safe traveling mercies to you I pray. We had a much lighter dusting than you. Your pictures look pretty. I can say I'm looking forward to all those snowfalls to come. Thank you for visiting me again. I have started to reply to comments left. Stop by and see.Hugs and Prayer
ReplyDeleteOnly just had our first frost, but that's unusually late. A few years ago it snowed here on Nov 8 - that was unusually early and we didn't have any more snow that winter.
