It has been blowing snow all day today, never enough to accumulate until this evening. Just as darkness settled, the snow began to stick and I had to step outside briefly to take a few pictures. It's just so lovely with the Christmas lights still aglow, the snow dropping quietly and the warm lights of the house spilling into the twilight.
I wonder how much snow we'll actually have by morning. My guess is less than an inch, but it will be even prettier in the morning light--if that's possible.

I always love seeing snow with some Christmas lights.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos, Sue.
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures! I don't know if I'll be stalwart enough to take any pictures today. It's been snowing since yesterday, was 6F before sunup this morning and now has dropped to 2F. The good news is, almost no wind! Even the goats are staying snugged in their shelters, with the exception of chubby little Tsuga, who had to check the neighboring bungalow to make sure the other feed bucket didn't contain something better ;) Stay warm and cozy, Sue, and keep the photos coming!
ReplyDeleteVery nice shots, Sue.
