Booth Update: Antique Mall of Marietta

We spent half of yesterday re-arranging and restocking our booths at the antique mall in Marietta. Here's a look at what we did:

We did an almost complete overhaul of this space, adding lots of rustic items like the poultry cage, drafting stool, and more.

The pedal thing with the seat is an old knife sharpener. Pedaling spins the grinding stone on the end. You get your exercise at the same time your knife gets sharp.

We move some things around too, like this table. It wasn't getting much attention where we had it, so now it's a lot more visible.

I held the white tree for a friend back in November but she never arranged to pick it up, so I missed Christmas sales time. Still, maybe it will sell now.

We brought the dresser in last time we were here. Furniture takes a little longer at Marietta, but I am hopeful this one will sell soon.

Viking, Blendo and Hazel Atlas happily co-existing.

I am beginning to thin out my Blenko collection. Not an easy task, but i have too much for the space I can give it at home. Here it mixes nicely with other glass.

We moved this table to a more prominent place too. It's so odd that this hasn't sold, given the popularity of the color. Maybe it needs to come home and be painted white?

This punch bowl is so lovely. It was made by Tiffin Glass of Ohio.

Crystal chandeliers hanging high.

The black cast iron piece is a corn sheller, and was often used to hull walnuts.

And that's the tour this time around. I still need to work in other areas, another day!

  1. As always, there are at least 2 or 3 things I would have to have if I was there! I'll bet you could guess which ones, too :)
