Marietta Booth Change-Ups

A quick look at changes in our Marietta booths:

We brought this kitchen cart in a few weeks ago. I love that drawer in front. This one almost didn't make it out of my kitchen.

I'd lke to move this big cupboard to a more visible location. It's so primitive,  but can't really be seen very well where it is.

It's big too--holds all kinds of things.

Tidied up the "Pyrex" cabinet. That's what I call it, anyway!

This is a Margaret Kane print, titled "Interlude" but often called Three Girls or Three Sisters. It is beautiful work--and makes the large Hazel Atlas punch bowl look quite small.

I decided to put up this rack to display a quilt and some other things, but I wonder how well it did. Customers can be rough on displays like this one, and this is a busy mall with lots of traffic.

Beer signs! These seem to be really popular these days--these signs are plastic, though, no metal so we'll see.

Larry had a time cleaning this can up well enough to bring to the booth. Talk about oily!

I took a lot of Fiesta pieces to Ravenswood and they sold immediately. These are just sitting, so they make make a road trip to our other location soon. These are priced dead cheap because I got them for a great price and just want to move them.

A nice lot of old rulers of various types, and a set of 70's glasses. Remember the "rolypoly" glasses?

A couple old fans, one working, one for display only.

And a basket full of linens--I wonder how this will look when I go back in. Odds are good that they will be all spread out on the table. Which is good because it means people have been looking at them.

We moved the rack of military uniforms to a different location and I like it a lot better.

Tidied up this whole area. Booths are like our homes, they can get cluttered easily and take attention and regular cleaning and dusting.

Put together a primitive display on this tabletop.

The back wall is mostly tools, both work tools and kitchen tools.

A few cookie jars on this table, one Brush McCoy, one a Williamsburg pottery house, and the apple I am not sure who made.

More teapots. I swear I am a teapot magnet! They sell steadily, thank goodness, or I'd be drowning in them.

An "Eisenhower" jacket, WWII era, along with some more recent uniforms.

Still hoping a buyer will fall in love with the washtubs--they are great for porch coolers, planters, or to use in a greenhouse.

The wall isn't really tilting, just the photographer!

Vitage kitchen tools sell well too, and I have a hard time keeping them in stock.

Added a nice crocheted afghan and a quilt at our last visit.

So no big additions, just some new things and some re-arranging, which often results in sales as people see things they might have missed when the item is put in a new location.
