63 again this morning. A red sunrise so we will likely have rain. We can hear the highway 4 miles away, also an indication of rain.
After weeks of asking, Larry finally remembered to get down the Fall decorations this week!
I love this time of year, and we have been blessed with the best kind of weather, with highs in the 70s and cool nights. We're still trying to adjust to the early darkness. What did we do in the evenings before summer?
I am not a pumpkin spice fan, even though pumpkin pie is one of my favorites. And pumpkin muffins and pumpkin bread are good too. But coffee? And all those other things now available in pumpkin spice? No thanks.
The trees are fast changing color now and I think that for much of West Virginia this weekend will be the peak. It's a good time for our state, with tourists from all over coming to enjoy the season. Some state parks have added "glamping" options with some upscale tent camps available. They are completely furnished, with pretty nice outside toilets and solar showers. I would like to try this kind of camping. It might be fun.
Today is booth work, so I am off to load the van. I might see about getting a few 🎃 too. Enjoy this beautiful season in your area.
