More from Cass

54 this morning. Rain showers better part of the day, clearing in the late afternoon.

I took so many photos at Cass--the place is just photogenic. So I thought I'd post a few more.

Do you know anyone looking for a cool old car? This one is for sale for 3000.00, and it even runs. Seen behind a house at Cass.

Little red caboose. A frequent sight in my childhood, but today I don't think many cabooses are in use.

Beautiful, huge Mullein plants growing alongside the Greenbrier River Trail.

An interesting pile of stones alongside an abandoned section of railroad tracks.

Cass store as dusk begins to fall, seen from the back.

The Greenbrier river. Such a beautiful river along its whole length.

Looking out one window of our house.

And the view from the porch. I  did so enjoy just sitting out here, in the golden light of the tree's leaves.

Foxtail grass along the trail.

There are apple trees all over the place at Cass, and most of them had apples, although the fruits were on the small side. They tasted pretty good!

More photos coming tomorrow. I have to admit, just looking at them makes me want to go back.
