28°f/-2°C, mostly clear. A little snow on the ground, but most is gone.
Here we are, back to winter after last week's unreasonably warm weather. It was a nice break, and you would think we were wise enough to take down the Christmas lights outside, but it didn't happen. Maybe later this week. At least I did finally take down the tree, so now all the inside stuff is sorted and put away. 10 totes of Christmas! In my defense, 4 are for the booths. But still, that's a lot, and I got rid of anything I wasn't going to use.
We were busy with the booths last week. Having not gone in since mid-December , except for some minor tweaking, we really did need to get back to it.
We brought this set in last Friday. It sold Saturday morning, so we are picking up more chairs today to go with another table we have.
The snow squall was brief, but impressive!
Yesterday evening our neighbors Mark and Spring stopped by to visit. It has been ages since we had seen them, beyond passing on the road or in a store, so it was nice to have time to really talk. Mark grew up with our sons, and like my boys, has good memories of those years. And Spring has missed her calling as a stand-up comedian!
Well, we must go. Chairs are calling!

My nice neighbor keeps his orange star still out and I smile every time I come to my home-PC-place!
ReplyDeleteCooool chairs! To a new week - hopefully warmer!
I just love that last photo with the lace around the snow. A great idea. As are the Christmas balls in boxes. My 'stuff' is boxed and put away, thanks to the daughter crawling into the understairs area where the boxes live for eleven months.
ReplyDeleteThe visuals of your sale items are interesting. Do you sell on line at all?
Yes I do, Mary. That's actually how I started, then had too much stuff to list so we rented a small booth, and it grew from there. I sell on ebay as Granny Sue's Bird in Hand. https://ebay.us/m/nkdadf
DeleteI, too, love that last picture with the lace curtain and the wintery outdoors. I'm glad you sold the table and red chairs. Very vintage. Take care and have a great week.
ReplyDeleteThe juxtaposition of cold outside and cozy inside!
DeleteI like the table and chairs. It's what we had when I was a child. You have some really nice things in your booth.
ReplyDeleteThank you! We try to have something for all interests.
DeleteThe other light will begin to return, but it’s darn slow, eh?
ReplyDeleteYes it is, but soon!
DeleteThose glass tumblers are unusual and I adore that table and chairs.
ReplyDeleteI can imagine someone buying that table and chairs for a movie or TV set. Do you ever get people looking for things like that?
ReplyDeleteYes, the local theater group! And online i have sold to a couple TV shows, and a New York theater as well as a theater costume rental place. That last one bought a briefcase.
DeleteHow funny. I have a cousin Spring. She is not your neighbor though!
ReplyDeleteI would think it's not a common name. I once knew an Autumn too, and a Summer, but no Winter yet.
