I never cared much about grape jelly, until I made my first from my own grapes. The flavor is so clear! I don't know how else to describe it. I don't like grape flavored anything (unless it's wine--does that count?) but I sure like homemade grape jelly. Jaime and Michaela were good partners in the kitchen.

ReplyDeleteI have not had that home-made grape jelly since I was a kid . . . but Shoot. I can still taste it!
ReplyDeleteStore bought grape jelly does not compare. I don't think a day has gone by we haven't dug into the jelly we made. Today was elderberry.
ReplyDeleteNow I'm off to find your dill recipe.
Why do you put your jelly jars upside down?
ReplyDeleteI made my first batch of grape jelly last summer. Sadly, the grapes were not in abundance this year.
