  2. Thanks, mamabug! It was a beautiful morning.

I hope you find something you like among my books. I will be adding more as time goes on, so if you don't see something now, you might later on.

  3. Beautiful Granny Sue! I don't get to see sun sets like that here at my house. I live on the flat land.

  5. I think the best sunrises and sunsets are on the mountaintops, Angela. I can't see the sunrise so well from my house, either--I have to go up on top of the hill for that. Sunsets, though, we get to see.

Jessica, you made me laugh out loud! It was very cold the past 2 mornings--10 this a.m.--but too pretty for words.

  6. I love that Joe's Run! is that a driveway or a road? cuz that is my kind of road. Here in Iowa, I witness lovely sunsets a plenty but miss out on the sunrises. oh wait. ahhhhh. I may just need to get up earlier!

  8. Nance, Joe's Run is a road. There are actually two forks--left fork and right fork. Both will bring you up on our ridge; we live between the two forks, so we can pick and choose which way to go out. Both are beautiful.

I can just imagine how huge the sunsets must be in Iowa, Nance, with such wide vistas. I bet they're breathtaking.

  10. Hi Granny Sue from WV. So glad you found me so I could find you. I love WV and glad to find another WV blogger too. Appalachian Fiction was my favorite class in college and I love a good tale. My dad used to tell me so many. Beautiful pictures and glad to find a new blog friend. I am definitely keeping the bear cage :)
