Next was an arrangement with the other things I'd brought in from the woods and gardens.
I chose a small brown crock and then put in some woodland ferns,
some of the asparagus berries, a little of some grass that I don't know the name of from my garden, some juniper, cottoneaster, berries from barberry, and a few other things to create this arrangement:
Putting it together was a process of adding, taking out, moving around, until I was finally satisfied with the result:
Finished!
And in place on the porch:
This is very pretty. It looks great in your crock.
ReplyDeleteThat arrangement turned out very pretty in that brown crock. You have loads of talent!
ReplyDeleteI like this arrangement, Suse! It's got alittle piece of your gardens and woods put all together. It's very pretty!!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful Granny Sue! It's the little touches that just make it so special.
ReplyDeleteHow lovely! Wish I was as talented as you. :)
ReplyDeleteWell, that looks lovely! I especially like the Peace and Joy stones.
ReplyDeleteThank you, friends! Yesterday was storytelling performances so I did not get to post. Today we're hanging lights and *finally* getting the decorations down. After a day of carol singing I am feeling like Christmas now :) First, though, to dust! Can't decorate dirt, as my mother would say.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful arrangements! What a great talent!
ReplyDeleteI like it!
ReplyDeleteOh and don't you know dust is just a country "accent". :0)
Also wanted to let you know that Katie picked your name this evening for my giveaway. Congrats! Send me your snail mail and I'll get the cookbooks right out to you.
