Riverbend Antique Mall

I've talked about the antique mall where I have one of my booths--my first booth actually. I thought that today I'd share some photos of the mall and some of the other booths there so you can get a better idea of what it is like.

Owner Leah Lemley does a good job advertising the mall. There are radio ads, signs on the interstate and print publicity. She also provides video security, a cart to help haul stuff in and out, and staffing.  The front windows are always clean and bright and filled with attractive displays. It's a nice place for both sellers and shoppers.

The mall is well-lighted with wide aisles and always a smiling welcome from Leah or one of her workers.

A wide variety of items are available in the booths--I always browse after I've stocked my booth, and often end up buying something!

I like this mirror! Makes me look a LOT thinner!

Below is a quick peek at the latest changes to my booth. The front table is loaded with red and blue-and-white dishes. I took out a table in the left rear corner so that I could better use the wall space, and added a rack for linens. I'll post more photos tomorrow of those changes as well as a few more of the booths in the mall.

  1. Hi Susanna; your booth looks very deep and wide in today's photo. Looks good too.

Thanks for the peek around at some of the other booths. Always something I enjoy studying.

  2. I could wander around in there for a long time. The only problem I can see is too much choice!

  3. That looks like a big place. I bet there are many good finds in there!

  4. Joy, my booth here is 8x16' so it is pretty good-sized. The rent is a little steep so I'm waiting to see if the additional cost is worth the space. I have to admit, though, I like having all this room to play with, and it's not overcrowded.

I will post a few more photos of the other booths, and I want to take more of my favorite in the place (besides my own, of course!) because I think he does a great job of organizing his things.

  5. John, it's really not so big, but you could easily spend some solid time in there! I think there are about 30 vendors? Maybe more.

  6. Thanks, Jai! Wish you could come see it :)

Jessica, it's not really big, not nearly the size of some I've been in. I like it because I get overwhelmed easily in the big malls by so many choices--and I get tired. This one is just about right for an hour or so of browsing.
