Rabbit, rabbit, rabbit
You want to have better luck? More money? Then this is what you do: on the first day of each month, say rabbit, rabbit, rabbit first thing in the morning. Before you do anything else. Before you say anything else. That's important. I learned this from my mother, so you know it must be true.
What other rabbit superstitions are there? Here's a few:
A rabbit crossing your path is good luck (but what about the one in my garden?)
Seeing a rabbit on the way to work is a bad sign (uh-oh. I see one every day on my driveway)
Seeing a rabbit cross behind you means bad luck is coming (but how can you see it? I mean, it's behind you...)
Saying "white rabbits" on the first of each month or will bring good luck (hunh? Well, to each his own. I'll stick with rabbits, rabbits, rabbits)
A rabbit with a thick coat means a hard winter (well duh...)
Do you know any other rabbit superstitions? Share them and let's make this the complete list of rabbit luck and lore.
Okay, we already know about its foot. Yuck. Who wants the foot of a dead animal in their pocket, luck notwithstanding?
