November. Here we are, closing out another year. Does it seem to you that we got here very quickly? Tomorrow is All Souls Day; if youre curious about the day and traditions, check out this post I wrote some years ago.
Since we seldom get any trick-or-treaters at our house, I decided to put the treats in a bucket at the top of the hill. I put a rock in the bucket too, since it was pretty breezy, and set little battery candles around it for when it got dark. Candy on the honor system, you might say.
The impatiens are still looking lovely. I think their color is even more intense now.
We already have this solar fence charger for the garden fence. It does a great job. The new coop is inside the electric fence so it provides double protection from predators.
And just in case you ever wanted a set of stone balls...
Enough for today! Oh, and rabbit, rabbit, rabbit!

I like that you left out candy and yes, there are people who don't like chocolate. But, what is wrong with them?!
ReplyDelete...neat to se impatiens still in flower!
ReplyDeleteI really like chocolate but many I know can take it or leave it and a few would much rather leave it. Then, they go on about white chocolate which is NOT chocolate.
ReplyDeleteI like chocolate, but I would have loved to have gotten a gel pen.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you made some child's day very happy yesterday.
I wonder if you've got a very happy raccoon with a winter's stash of sweets, now busy writing a colorful novel ;)
ReplyDeleteI'd like to think they're nice, but who knows! I gave out packets of Oreo cookies. I like the gel pen idea!
ReplyDeleteI enjoy reading not only your blog, but the comments it elicits from your followers! Hope the chickens enjoyed Halloween too, with just chicken treats.
