Catching Snowflakes

I love looking at snowflakes. I used a magnifying glass to enlarge the flakes, then aimed the camera. Not professional but it was fun to try it.

You can also find photos by Wilson "Snowflake" Bentley, the man who first figured out how take pictures of fragile flakes, online and free for downloading. and National Geographic offers more information than you thought existed in an article, with great photos, on their website.
