Storyteller's Journey: Audra State Park and homeward bound

The mountain laurel was in full bloom at Audra State Park. We stopped for a quick visit because we'd never been there--I'd visited years ago, but Larry had not seen this little gem of a park.

The laurel bushes formed large groves, perfect wildlife habitat.

I was surprised by this cable car that could transport passengers across the Middle Fork River.
Such a pretty river, even on an overcast day.

And the rains chased us home.
