Seasonal

Right now, it looks something like this outside:

But soon it will look like this:

and then like this:

and soon we'll be doing this:

and this:

and there will be nights like this:

and eventually we'll be back to this:

Which is why I love living in a place where the seasons are so defined, and each filled with a special beauty of its own.

  3. You all know what I mean! Love what we have now, can't wait for what's ahead. The human condition, isn't it?

Kim, welcome! I'll be back by your blog soon. I found you through Verde Farm, a site I just stumbled on yesterday. Sending a few prayers for your daughter. She has a tough road right now.

  5. Grandchildren are always a great photo topic, Barbara :)

That's Michaela's little face in the window, my son Derek and his daughter Hannah jumping in the water, and Cassidy in the fall picture. She's becoming quite the musician these days, singing in coffee bars, etc in the VA suburbs.

  9. Great photos, I especially love the icicle one. I can't imagine living in a place where the seasons are all much the same, watching the changes that each season brings is one of the great pleasures of life for me.
