After a day of buying inventory, selling, dogs, cold temperatures, grocery and paint shopping, preparations for a possible coming ice storm and reading about an earthquake of 200 years ago, I am ready for a break, and I'm getting one.
Tomorrow and Sunday I'll be in my home-away-from-home, Sistersville, WV--hanging out with storytellers, working on stories and enjoying the hospitality of the Wells Inn and the Gaslight Theater. I am hoping to leave with a new story in development and my storytelling fire rekindled.
Now, just pray that instead of ice we get rain or snow. I'll take either, I'm not picky. But I never ever want to go through a storm like the one we had in 2003.
Time to pack!
