I feel blessed to live in a state where rivers and mountains meet,
View over the New River near Brooks, WV |
where the green-ness needs to be seen to be believed,
where evenings can be so quiet and filled with space to reflect and renew,
On Brooks Mountain |
and where I have the opportunity to share my love of stories and creativity with many willing hands.

West Virginia has its share of problems, but it has far more good that outweighs all the negatives. Which is why I have been so happy to call this place home for over 40 years.

And it's why I've had the feeling for years that I should maybe live there too!
