Somewhere in southern West Virginia there is a log house, with a wood porch
that has flowers, a swing and comfy chairs
and a view over the greening mountains to where the spring sun is slowly setting.
You can sit and watch and listen to the birds, to the thunder of Sandstone Falls on the river below, and to the far-off hoot of a train whistle.
If you're lucky, you might be joined by a tiny thirsty fellow,
and together you can watch the sun disappear behind the hills.
If you're really lucky,
you might also be joined by the sweet music of a mountain dulcimer,
played gently and quietly to end the day.
With many thanks to Ron, Wendy, Sam and all for one of the most relaxing few hours
a person could want.
