63 and thunderstorms this morning, after a day of rain and showers yesterday. Everything is soggy.
Remember a couple weeks back, when we were spraying water early in the morning to keep the frost off?
It worked!
The little cherry tree is loaded with cherries, and the apple trees, at the the ones we could get to, have apples. I'm not sure yet about the pear as it is harder to see them, but I'm hopeful since it's next to the apple trees.
So, it was definitely worth getting outside before sunrise in freezing weather and getting wet for a couple mornings in a row.
You might have saved your whole fruit crop!
ReplyDeleteThat's great and I learned something new.
