Waiting for the Great Flood?

High on a ridge between Jackson and Putnam counties, West Virginia, there sits this sternwheeler, waiting for high tide.

When it comes, we'd better all be right with our souls, because water this deep would flood most of the earth!

  2. Thank you! Please come back anytime. One of the joys of blogging is the amazing people I meet here--like you, bluemountainmama, bayouwoman and so many others. It makes me happy to know there are others out there trying to live in a simpler, more reasonable way, and appreciating the incredibleness of life in small places.
